Since I started circuit bending back in 2005 I always avoided messing around with keyboards and drum machines, as I considered them ‘too musical’ for the standards of the sounds I was creating at that time. Recently I started modifying some very interesting electronic music instruments and I found it fascinating. There are endless possibilities of sound synthesis with some of these machines, plus they could function both for exploratory and for more commercal music.
